Local Man Indicted on Methamphetamine Trafficking Charges
Cesar Arvizo, 44, of Burlington, Colorado, has been charged with conspiring to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine in February 2024. He is also accused of knowingly possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
According to the indictment, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and Texas Department of Public Safety investigated the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Adam C. Bailey is prosecuting the case.
Arvizo’s indictment is listed as 24-CR-059. The indictment is a method of informing a defendant of alleged violations of federal law, which must be proven in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt to overcome a defendant’s presumption of innocence.
The case is ongoing, and Arvizo is currently facing charges of Drug Conspiracy and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute.
