Jesse White, a 48-year-old man from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, has been charged with receipt and possession of child pornography. The charges came after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received reports of child porn on June 19, 2026, which were traced back to White. On July 21, 2026, the FBI executed a search warrant at White’s residence, seizing multiple computers and hard drives.
According to the complaint, a preliminary review of the devices revealed numerous files containing images of child pornography depicting minors between the ages of 7 and 15 engaged in sexually explicit activity. Agents also found approximately 100 files depicting child pornography on a separate drive.
The case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the Department of Justice to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse. The FBI investigated the case, and Assistant United States Attorney Christian Haugsby is prosecuting.
White faces up to 30 years in prison, a term of supervised release, and a fine if convicted. The case highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to crack down on child pornography and protect vulnerable victims.
