A South Carolina man has been sentenced to 97 months imprisonment for his role in a large-scale steroid distribution conspiracy. Christopher Brit Beebe, 45, was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute steroids and possession of a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime.
According to court documents, Beebe and others manufactured and distributed steroids using the internet from 2004 to 2015. The conspiracy was uncovered when Kershaw County Sheriff Deputies responded to a report of a homicide at Beebe’s residence in Bethune, South Carolina. Upon arrival, officers discovered a large quantity of steroids.
The case was investigated by the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office and agents of DEA Diversion. Assistant United States Attorney William E. Day, II, prosecuted the case.
Beebe was sentenced to 97 months imprisonment, followed by 5 years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a $200.00 special assessment.
