Christopher King, 52, admitted in federal court on February 26, 2024, that he possessed a Glock pistol in February 2023, despite being a convicted felon and an unlawful drug user.

King’s guilty plea was announced by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mark Tremmel is prosecuting the case, which was investigated by the High Risk Unit of the Sixth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services, the Cedar Rapids Police Department, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
