SYRACUSE, NEW YORK – In a shocking admission, Anthony Deyoe, 45, of Au Sable Forks, New York, has pled guilty to distributing, receiving, and possessing child pornography. The revelation came from United States Attorney John A. Sarcone III and Erin Keegan, Special Agent in Charge of the Buffalo Field Office of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
Deyoe confessed that he engaged in a sinister exchange of child sexual abuse material on an online social networking app installed on his cell phone in June 2024. Additionally, during a law enforcement search in December 2024, numerous images and videos depicting child sexual abuse were found on the same device.
With prior convictions for Criminal Sexual Act in the Third Degree in 2008 and Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child in 2018, Deyoe’s actions are even more heinous. U.S. Attorney Sarcone emphasized the importance of protecting children, expressing gratitude to HSI and the NYSP for their collaboration.
HSI Buffalo Special Agent in Charge Erin Keegan echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the commitment to justice for child victims online. Deyoe’s sentencing is set for November 5, 2025, with potential imprisonment ranging from 15 to 40 years per count and a fine of up to $250,000.
This case was investigated by HSI, NYSP, and members of the Tri-County Special Response Team. Assistant U.S. Attorney Adrian S. LaRochelle is prosecuting under Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sexual exploitation online.
