Theodore Warren, aka ‘Monty’, a 42-year-old Pittsfield man, has pleaded guilty to conspiring to traffic large quantities of cocaine in Western Massachusetts. Warren, a trusted member of a drug trafficking organization (DTO) led by former Pittsfield High School Dean Lavante Wiggins, served as a runner for Wiggins. The DTO distributed large amounts of cocaine in and around the Pittsfield area, with Warren making deliveries on behalf of Wiggins, particularly to a customer who owed over $34,000 for cocaine purchased on credit.
Between September and December 2024, Warren made four separate deliveries to this customer, totaling approximately 466 grams of cocaine. These deliveries were made on September 10, October 14, October 31, and December 10, 2024, with quantities ranging from 91 to 150 grams of cocaine per delivery.
Warren’s guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, as well as four counts of distribution of and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, could result in a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of up to $2 million. Sentencing is scheduled for October 20, 2026.
