A brazen robbery turned ugly for a Lynn man, Harvey Rodriguez, who’s been locked up for 10 years for his role in a $24,000 heist. The January 2023 armed robbery targeted a drug distributor in Woburn, with Rodriguez and an accomplice pointing guns at the customer before making off with the cash.
But that was just the tip of the iceberg for the 29-year-old, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and Hobbs Act Robbery. Rodriguez was part of a multi-year operation that peddled cocaine, fentanyl, and fake prescription pills throughout the North Shore.
He was arrested in August 2025 and had been a key player in the Lynn area’s illicit drug trade. Over four occasions, Rodriguez supplied a cooperating witness with cocaine and methamphetamine. The investigation revealed a complex web of distributors, including Vincent Caruso, Lawrence Michael Nagle, Jr., and Schuyler Oppenheimer.
Rodriguez’s 10-year sentence was handed down by U.S. Senior District Court Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV, along with three years of supervised release.
