Orlando, FL – The Department of Justice has unveiled a shocking tale of daring theft and escape as Krishna Jade Janosky, 29, from Cocoa, Florida, faces a staggering array of charges. Janosky is accused of unauthorized entry onto Patrick Space Force Base on February 7, 2024, grand theft auto, fleeing and eluding law enforcement at high speeds, and willfully damaging government property.
According to the indictment, Janosky cunningly gained access to the base, a military installation under U.S. jurisdiction, without proper credentials. Once inside, she is alleged to have stolen another individual’s vehicle, knowing full well that she had no right to its use. Her actions took a dangerous turn when she fled from law enforcement in a high-speed chase, putting herself and others at risk.
The charges escalate with the revelation that Janosky also deliberately damaged the Patrick Space Force Base flightline gate, further endangering property. The U.S. Attorney Roger B. Handberg has made it clear that if convicted on all counts, Janosky could face a maximum penalty of 30 years in federal prison.
Janosky’s charges are the culmination of an investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Air Force Office of Special Investigation, the 45th Security Forces Squadron, and local sheriff’s offices. The prosecution is being handled by Special Assistant United States Attorney Rachel S. Lyons.
