Collin Parker, Methamphetamine Trafficking, Nebraska 2021

OMAHA, NE – A Walthill man has been sentenced to 110 months in federal prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy. Collin Parker, 29, was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

Parker was sentenced by United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher and will be required to serve 5 years of supervised release after his prison term. There is no parole in the federal system.

The investigation into Parker’s activities began on August 20, 2021, when officers stopped a vehicle in Macy, Nebraska, containing four people, including Parker and co-defendant Terrence Sherman. During the stop, officers located approximately 123.18 grams of methamphetamine, scales, baggies, and a 12-gauge shotgun.

Parker and Sherman had conspired to distribute methamphetamine and possessed the shotgun in furtherance of that conspiracy. Sherman has pleaded guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced on May 24, 2023.

The case was investigated by the Omaha Nation Law Enforcement Services, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. United States Attorney Steven Russell announced the sentencing.
