Milan pleaded guilty to unlawful distribution of at least 500 grams of cocaine intended for importation into the United States on May 13, 2025. The plea agreement revealed Milan’s meetings with a drug trafficker to arrange the shipment of 9.85 kilograms of cocaine from South America to the U.S.
According to the DEA and FBI, Milan met with the trafficker in several occasions. During one meeting on January 29, 2019, he confirmed the cargo was destined for the United States. Another meeting on February 2, 2019, detailed the transportation logistics using cargo planes. Finally, on March 5, 2019, Milan provided ten bricks of cocaine, weighing 9.85 kilos, for which he received $13,000 USD in exchange.
The DEA Mid-Atlantic Laboratory confirmed the presence of cocaine in all nine units tested from the ten bricks.米兰 was arrested in Colombia on May 22, 2021, and extradited to the United States on September 12, 2024.
This case was a collaborative effort between the FBI Washington Field Office and Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kevin Rosenberg and Peter Roman of the Violent Crime and Narcotics Trafficking Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.
