A nationwide lottery and mail fraud scheme has been brought to its knees by federal authorities, with 63 defendants rounded up in the largest crackdown on the illicit industry in years. The racket, masterminded by the ABC Sales Company, a 20-year-old national organization, used the mail to peddle millions of dollars’ worth of lottery tickets to unsuspecting buyers nationwide. Those arrested include notorious figures from the East Coast, including Corwick Louh, Lrvenstein, and David Lieberman of Newark, New Jersey, and Joseph Jerome of Elizabeth, New Jersey.
