GRIMY NEWS: A terrifying plot to purchase a child has been uncovered in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Robert W. Thomas, 37, has been indicted for attempting to buy a 10-year-old girl with the intent to sexually exploit her.
The grim allegations against Thomas include offering to purchase the child, enticement of a minor, and receiving and distributing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. United States Attorney Steven M. Dettelbach and FBI Special Agent Stephen D. According to the indictment, Thomas attempted to induce the girl into illegal sexual activity online from January 6, 2014, through January 11, 2014. The charges also reveal that Thomas had been distributing sexually explicit material involving real minors since at least January 1, 2012.
