Movie producer Dillon Jordan, also known as Daniel Jordan and Daniel Maurice Hatton, has been sentenced to five years in prison for operating a sprawling international prostitution ring. The ring operated from 2010 through 2017 and targeted young women.
Jordan pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate the Mann Act on September 1, 2022, before U.S. District Judge John P. Cronan. He was sentenced by Judge Cronan today.
The United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, stated that Jordan’s business catered to wealthy men and was built on the exploitation of young women. The office is dedicated to prosecuting sex crimes, particularly those involving abuse and profit-making.
According to court documents, Jordan operated his prostitution business across the U.S. and internationally. He maintained a list of women who performed sexual acts for clients in exchange for payment. Jordan used email to communicate with clients and arranged travel logistics for the women involved in his ring.
Jordan also personally recruited women and emotionally and sexually abused some of them. He was previously imprisoned in Cuba for sex crimes and began operating this prostitution business upon his return to the U.S. in 2010.
Financially, Jordan used two front companies based in California to manage the finances of his operation. The ring’s proceeds were funneled through these companies to disguise their source. In addition to the prison term, Jordan was sentenced to three years of supervised release and ordered to pay a forfeiture of $1,429,717.
