A brazen Dominican fentanyl and cocaine trafficker has been extradited back to the United States and slapped with a laundry list of federal charges after a Homeland Security Task Force investigation.
Frank Maiky Baez Guerrero, 29, allegedly ran a large-scale trafficking organization that brought poison to the streets of Massachusetts and Maine, with a network of 10 co-conspirators in tow.
According to court documents, Baez Guerrero’s crew would transport fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine from the Bay State to Maine, rent local pads to peddle the poison, and then return to Massachusetts with the dirty cash.
Prosecutors say Baez Guerrero’s DTO operated both in the US and the Dominican Republic, with the trafficker pulling the strings from afar.
The charges against Baez Guerrero carry a potential life sentence, along with a fine of up to $2 million.
