Donovan Swift, 31, Sentenced to 21 Months in Prison for Cocaine Distribution
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – Donovan Swift, a 31-year-old man from Shelby Township, Michigan, was sentenced to 21 months of incarceration for his role in distributing cocaine in Monongalia County, West Virginia.
The sentencing took place on an unspecified date in 2021, according to United States Attorney William Ihlenfeld. Swift pleaded guilty in September 2021 to one count of ‘Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine Hydrochloride.’
Swift admitted to distributing cocaine in October 2020 in Monongalia County. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, & Explosives and the Mon Metro Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated the case.
