A Lake Park, Iowa man has been sentenced to federal prison for his role in a methamphetamine conspiracy.
Dustin Noble, 38, was sentenced to 27 months in prison on February 26, 2021, for his involvement in the distribution of methamphetamine.
The evidence presented in court showed that between November 2019 and March 2020, Noble and others conspired to distribute at least 5,000 grams of pure methamphetamine.
Noble admitted to helping acquire and transport 20 pounds of methamphetamine from a source of supply in California, for which he was to receive money and/or methamphetamine.
He also admitted to helping acquire methamphetamine in three trips to Sioux City to obtain ½ to one pound quantities of methamphetamine in January/February 2020, from another source of supply.
Noble was sentenced in Sioux City by United States District Court Chief Judge Leonard T. Strand.
He must also serve a 4-year term of supervised release after the prison term. There is no parole in the federal system.
Noble is currently being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn S. Wehde and investigated by the Tri-State Drug Task Force based in Sioux City, Iowa.
