A member of the notorious Taylor Avenue Crew, Elijah Davila, pleaded guilty to murder, racketeering and narcotics conspiracies in a Bronx courtroom yesterday. Davila, also known as “Montana,” faces a mandatory minimum term of 40 years in prison and a maximum term of life in prison.

Manhattan Acting U.S. Attorney Joon H. Kim praised the work of the New York City Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and Homeland Security Investigations in bringing the case to justice. He also thanked the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office for their participation and support.

The case is being handled by the Office’s Violent and Organized Crime Unit, with Assistant United States Attorneys Scott Hartman, Jessica Lonergan, and Jason Swergold leading the prosecution.

The sentencing hearing for Davila is set for July 13, 2017, before United States District Judge Katherine Polk Failla.
