Emrah Eymez, Child Pornography, Missouri 2024

A former Mexico, Missouri man has been sentenced to 25 years for using a 9-year-old victim to produce child pornography.

Emrah Eymez, 40, was sentenced to 300 months in federal court by U.S. District Judge Steven R. Bough. Eymez will also serve a lifetime of supervised release after his release from prison.

The child’s mother contacted law enforcement in April 2024 after discovering extensive cell phone communication between Eymez and her daughter. The communication involved the exchange of nude images and a sexually explicit video the child sent to Eymez.

Eymez will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release from prison and will be subject to federal and state sex offender registration requirements.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ashley S. Turner. It was investigated by The Boone County, Mo Sheriff’s Office.

This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
