Clinton Man Sentenced to Over 21 Years in Federal Prison for Drug Charges

A 47-year-old Clinton man, Eric Lee Coleman, has been sentenced to 262 months, or over 21 years, in federal prison for his involvement in distributing methamphetamine in the region.

According to court documents, Coleman sold various amounts of methamphetamine to a confidential source on two occasions as part of an undercover operation by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

On September 20, 2021, Coleman pleaded guilty to two counts of Distribution of Methamphetamine.
