Evan Megeath, 33, Sentenced to 27 Months in Prison for Unlawful Gun Possession
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – In a shocking turn of events, Evan Megeath, 33, of Strasburg, Virginia, was sentenced to 27 months in prison for unlawful possession of a firearm.
The discovery of the .22 caliber rifle in July 2015 in Jefferson County, WV, sparked a chain of events that led to Megeath’s downfall. With a history of previous felony convictions in state court in Virginia, Megeath’s actions were deemed a serious threat to public safety.
