Adam Richard Henderson, 35, of Bossier City, Louisiana, is headed to federal prison after being sentenced to 60 months for transporting child pornography. U.S. District Judge Elizabeth E. Foote handed down the sentence, followed by five years of supervised release, marking the end of a grim investigation into digital child exploitation.

Henderson pleaded guilty on July 16, 2021, to federal charges stemming from the transmission of explicit images depicting prepubescent minors. Court records show that on March 14, 2020, he used two personal Yahoo email accounts to send graphic material that lasciviously displayed the genital and pubic areas of young children—all while residing in Bossier City.

The case cracked open in 2020 when the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations received cyber tip reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The alerts flagged a Yahoo user tied to the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. Forensic tracing led straight to Henderson’s doorstep.

Henderson’s military past as a former U.S. Air Force member added a layer of betrayal to the crime. The investigation was jointly handled by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations, highlighting the crossover between federal and state forces in tracking down predators.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica D. Cassidy prosecuted the case, underscoring the Department of Justice’s aggressive stance on online child exploitation. The prosecution relied on Henderson’s own admissions during his guilty plea, where he confirmed sending the illicit images from his personal accounts.
