Ex-US Attorney Joins DOJ as Top Advisor

Joseph diGenova, a veteran US Attorney, has landed a top spot as Counselor to the Attorney General, advising senior officials on policy and enforcement matters. Before this appointment, diGenova served as the US Attorney for the District of Columbia from 1983 to 1988, overseeing major public corruption, national security, and violent crime prosecutions. He has also been a frequent legal commentator and advisor on matters involving federal law enforcement and constitutional issues.
