A 47-year-old Havana man is facing up to 40 years in prison for armed cocaine trafficking after a federal indictment was handed down in the Northern District of Florida.
According to the indictment, Marlo G. Davis possessed with intent to distribute cocaine and cocaine base, carried a firearm during a drug-trafficking crime, and possessed a firearm by a convicted felon.
The case, being jointly investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Tallahassee Police Department, is part of the Department of Justice’s nationwide Operation Take Back America initiative.
During his arraignment, Davis appeared in federal court before Magistrate Judge Martin A. Fitzpatrick. His jury trial is scheduled for May 26, 2026, before District Court Judge Mark E. Walker.
