Carlos Perez, Crack Cocaine Trafficking, Massachusetts 2025

A 40-year-old Fall River man has been busted for peddling crack cocaine and a slew of guns in the city’s streets. Carlos Perez pleaded guilty to four counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition and one count of distributing a controlled substance.

According to federal prosecutors, Perez sold a .45 caliber pistol, a Sig Sauer, P230 SL, .380 caliber pistol, a Ruger, Max 9, 9mm pistol, and a Smith & Wesson, M&P 9 Shield, 9mm pistol to a cooperating witness on multiple occasions in the spring of 2025.

Perez’s sales included a cocaine transaction on May 5, 2025, with the guns and ammo changing hands on June 2, June 30, and August 27, 2025.

The convicted felon’s prior convictions include a 2015 possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance charge, as well as two assault and battery convictions from 2008.

Perez faces up to 20 years in prison for distributing the controlled substance and up to 15 years for possessing the firearms. Sentencing is set for July 14, 2026.
