Clarence A. Frazier, 48, of Alexandria, Louisiana, has been indicted for the murder of Deputy US Marshal Drew Hanson, who was killed on July 14, 2026, while attempting to apprehend Frazier for failing to appear in state court on a sexual battery charge. Hanson, a husband and father of two, was fatally struck by gunfire when Frazier allegedly opened fire on law enforcement officers at his residence. The incident occurred when officers from the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshals Service approached Frazier’s home to execute lawful warrants.
