Rickey James Sr, Felon in Possession of Firearm, Indiana 2024

A pair of felons in Fort Wayne, Indiana have pled guilty to serious federal charges, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana.

Rickey James, Sr., 55, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was found guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm. The crime was committed after an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. If convicted, James faces a possible sentence.

Keana Davis, 33, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was found guilty of distribution of crack cocaine. The crime was committed after an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Fort Wayne Police Department. If convicted, Davis faces a possible sentence.

The cases against James and Davis are being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Tina Nommay and Anthony Geller, respectively.

Both James and Davis are currently free on bond and are scheduled to appear before U.S. District Court Judge for sentencing. The U.S. Attorney’s Office will seek sentences that reflect the seriousness of the crimes.
