A search of the barbershop yielded approximately 190 grams of marijuana and a scale. Police also found a loaded Hi-Point Firearms .45 caliber pistol in plain view in Carhee’s car, which was parked in front of the barbershop. After a SWAT standoff, Carhee surrendered to authorities.
A search of Carhee’s home revealed a Marlin, Glenfield model 70, .22 caliber rifle; a Remington, model: 770, .308 caliber rifle; a Remington, model: 710, .30-06 caliber rifle; and several marijuana plants in the backyard. As a convicted felon, Carhee is not allowed to possess a firearm. He faces up to 10 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine. The court has set a sentencing date of November 29, 2018.
