Johnstown, PA – A massive fentanyl trafficking sting landed a North Carolina man in hot water, as he was indicted on a charge of violating federal narcotics laws.

A resident of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Charles Triplin, 44, was named as the sole defendant in a one-count indictment presented to the court. According to the indictment, on June 21, 2021, Triplin attempted to possess with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of fentanyl.
