Firearms Conspiracy Lands Martinsburg Man in Hot Water
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – Marquis Hicks, a 30-year-old Martinsburg man, has admitted to his role in a conspiracy involving the illegal purchase and transportation of firearms.
According to Acting United States Attorney Randolph J. Bernard, Hicks pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy in a federal court. The charge stems from Hicks’ involvement in purchasing, possessing, and transferring firearms to an out-of-state resident back in March 2020.
