Antonni Flores, Business Burglary, Washington 2025

WASHINGTON — Antonni Flores, 29, faced the harsh reality of justice after being sentenced to 42 months in prison for his audacious double hit on a local business, it was announced by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro.

Flores stood guilty before a jury on April 28, 2025, at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, convicted of two counts of second-degree burglary. The sentence, handed down by Superior Court Judge Deborah Israel on July 18, 2025, mandates 42 months behind bars followed by three years of supervised release for each count to be served concurrently.

The government’s evidence painted a picture of Flores’ brazen actions. On the morning of July 26, 2024, the defendant broke into a local business and made off with food, money, and various items before vanishing. But his return was not by choice; he returned the next day with an accomplice to swipe a large screen TV. The burglar alarm rang out, triggering the Metropolitan Police Department, which promptly apprehended Flores, shirtless and in possession of the stolen television.

Chief Pamela Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department joined U.S. Attorney Pirro in praising the swift response and diligent investigation that led to Flores’ conviction. They also lauded Assistant U.S. Attorneys Mikéla Cuffy and Michael Dal Lago for their tenacity in prosecuting the case.

Flores’ reign of retail terror has come to an end, but the community’s safety and the justice system have been strengthened by the efforts of those who made sure this repeat offender faced the music for his crime.
