Fort Wayne, IN – A 41-year-old man from Defiance, Ohio, has pleaded guilty to distributing a massive amount of heroin in the Fort Wayne area.
Julian Zamora was taken into custody after an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Fort Wayne Police Department revealed his involvement in the heroin trade.
According to court documents, Zamora distributed at least 100 grams of a mixture containing a detectable amount of heroin, a felony offense.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Anthony W. Geller, who will work with the district court to determine the sentence.
If convicted, Zamora could face a lengthy prison sentence. However, the actual sentence will be determined by the judge after considering federal sentencing statutes and guidelines.
