A ruthless cocaine trafficker has been brought to justice in Allegheny County, with a 55-year-old McKeesport man facing the harsh realities of his crimes. Frank McClellan, 55, was sentenced to 216 months of incarceration, to be followed by five years of supervised release, for violating federal narcotics laws.
According to information presented to the court, between March 2021 and September 2021, McClellan conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, a Schedule II controlled substance, as well as 280 grams or more of cocaine base.
Senior United States District Judge Arthur J. Schwab imposed the sentence on McClellan on January 14, 2025. This prosecution is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigation, which identifies, disrupts, and dismantles the highest-level drug traffickers, money launderers, gangs, and transnational criminal organizations that threaten the United States.
Assistant United States Attorney Katherine C. Jordan prosecuted this case on behalf of the government. United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan commended the Drug Enforcement Administration, McKeesport Police Department, Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office, Penn Hills Police Department, Allegheny County Police Department, City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, and Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of McClellan.
