John Duchi, Jr., Crack Cocaine Distribution, Pennsylvania 2023

PITTSBURGH, PA – A resident of Donora, PA, has been sentenced in federal court to 50 months imprisonment followed by five years of supervised release on his conviction of federal narcotics charges.

Chief United States District Judge Mark R. Hornak imposed the sentence on John Duchi, Jr, 33, on this conviction.

According to information presented to the court, Duchi conspired with other members of the Lightfoot Drug Trafficking Organization to distribute cocaine from 2015 to 2017. Duchi admitted to distributing between 400 and 500 grams of powder cocaine during that time frame.

United States Attorney Chung commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police, with assistance from the South Strabane Police Department, the Elizabeth Borough Police Department, the Penn Hills Police Department, and the Perryopolis Police Department, for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Duchi, Jr.

This prosecution is a result of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation. OCDETF identifies, disrupts, and dismantles high-level drug traffickers, money launderers, gangs, and transnational criminal organizations that threaten communities throughout the United States. OCDETF uses a prosecutor-led, intelligence-driven, multi-agency approach that leverages the strengths of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies against criminal networks.

Defendant/respondent John Duchi, Jr. faces a 50-month prison sentence with 5 years of supervised release for conviction of federal narcotics charges. The crime took place in Donora, Pennsylvania, with the exact date of the crime ranging from 2015 to 2017.

The investigation was led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police with assistance from other law enforcement agencies.
