HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – In a gritty courtroom drama, Reginald Bernard Daniely Jr., known as “Yo,” and Jacquis Christopher Moody, known as “Jo,” both from Macon, Georgia, have each pleaded guilty to federal drug charges. The duo faces a potential 20 years in prison for their role in distributing fentanyl and crack.
According to court documents, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a Huntington apartment on February 20, 2024, uncovering a stash of deadly drugs and weapons. Officers seized nearly 13.814 grams of heroin-fentanyl mixture, almost 38.827 grams of crack, and two firearms.
Daniely and Moody admitted to possessing the seized substances and firearms as part of their guilty pleas. The men are set for sentencing on October 14, 2025, and risk a $1 million fine in addition to their lengthy prison terms.
Lisa G. Johnston, Acting United States Attorney, praised the efforts of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Huntington Police Department for their relentless pursuit of justice. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Joseph F. Adams.
The hearing was presided over by United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers, who will determine the fate of Daniely and Moody, whose names now echo through the grim annals of federal drug crime cases in West Virginia.
