HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The grim reaper of the Georgia underworld has met his match as Adree Villanueva, 25, from Kennesaw, is staring down a federal indictment for child sexual exploitation. This disturbing case, which spans three counts and allegations of coercion and enticement, has left the local community in shock.
The U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona announced the charges against Villanueva, who is now facing one count each of coercion and enticement, travelling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual activity, and transportation of a minor. These heinous acts are alleged to have occurred between April and July 2025 in Madison County.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Huntsville Police Department worked tirelessly to investigate this case, which is now being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney John M. Hundscheid. The evidence against Villanueva is stark, but it’s the victims who bear the true weight of these alleged crimes.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse. Launched in 2006, this Department of Justice effort has been instrumental in identifying, apprehending, and prosecuting those who exploit children online. While an indictment is merely a charge, the severity of these allegations is clear. Adree Villanueva is presumed innocent until proven guilty, but the community is left with a chilling reminder of the darkness that can lurk in our midst.
