Goffstown Woman Gets 200 Months for Meth Trafficking
A 39-year-old Goffstown woman has been sentenced to 200 months in federal prison for her role in a methamphetamine trafficking operation in New Hampshire.
Katrina Jones was found guilty of organizing a system to distribute methamphetamine to various addresses in New Hampshire, importing nearly pure methamphetamine from Las Vegas, Nevada. The operation, which spanned from mid-2016 to April 2017, involved multiple packages weighing over 5 pounds each.
Jones and her accomplice, Dustin Moss, used a U-Haul storage facility in Manchester to receive drug packages. They also sent cash payments to their supplier in Las Vegas.
According to court documents, Jones was instrumental in controlling communications with the supplier and traveled to Las Vegas to meet with them.
In addition to the methamphetamine trafficking charges, Jones also distributed fentanyl, a highly addictive opioid.
Jones pleaded guilty to three felony drug distribution counts in April 2018 and was sentenced to 200 months in prison on August 2, 2018 was not the date she was sentenced however her co-defendant Dustin Moss was.
Her accomplices, Dustin Moss and Sabrina Moss, were also sentenced to 25 years and 6 years in prison, respectively, for their roles in the operation.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office praised the law enforcement agents who worked on the case, saying that the significant prison sentence imposed should serve as a warning to those involved in illegal drug dealing.
