Elmer Enrique Ramirez-Ardon, Illegal Reentry, Maine 2026

⏱ 2 min read

On March 12, 2026, US Border Patrol Agents in Franklin County, Maine, stopped a white box truck heading towards the US-Canadian border, discovering Elmer Enrique Ramirez-Ardon, a 33-year-old Guatemalan man, in the passenger seat. Ramirez-Ardon had been ordered deported and removed from the US in 2014. He pleaded guilty to illegally reentering the country on April 16, 2026, and was sentenced to time served by US District Judge Stacey D. Neuman.

The Border Patrol Agents initially suspected the truck contained aliens and stopped it after it reversed direction and began traveling south towards the interior of the state. During a subsequent roadside immigration inspection, agents determined that the truck’s two occupants were aliens without lawful authority to be in the country.

Ramirez-Ardon’s case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative aimed at repelling the invasion of illegal immigration, achieving the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protecting communities from violent crime perpetrators.

The US Border Patrol investigated the case, which highlights the ongoing efforts to combat illegal immigration and protect national security.
