Klordenzsky Senecharles, a 29-year-old Brockton man, has been charged with making false statements to federal agents about 24 firearms he purchased and later sold. Between March 2020 and May 2021, Senecharles bought 28 guns and sold four, but 13 of the remaining 24 firearms were recovered at crime scenes across the Northeast, including a Boston homicide on February 26, 2024.
When questioned by law enforcement, Senecharles claimed he had sold 21 of the guns to Massachusetts firearms dealers, but the dealers reported no record of the sales. The investigation was led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) with assistance from the United States Marshals Service.
The charge of making false statements carries a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000. Senecharles was previously arrested and charged in April 2026 and released on pretrial conditions. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Meghan C. Cleary and Colin T. Missett.
The case highlights the ongoing issue of firearms trafficking in Massachusetts and the efforts of law enforcement to crack down on illegal gun sales. The ATF and other agencies are working to prevent guns from falling into the wrong hands and contributing to violent crime in the region.
