HARTFORD, Conn. — Jordan Flythe, also known as “T,” a 33-year-old Hartford native, has been sentenced to 70 months in federal prison for his role in distributing fentanyl and cocaine. The sentence, handed down by U.S. District Judge Victor A. Bolden in New Haven, also includes four years of supervised release.
Flythe’s criminal journey began on March 31, 2021, when he was sentenced to 36 months for distributing fentanyl and crack cocaine in Hartford federal court. After serving his time and being released in September 2022, Flythe resumed his illegal activities. In August 2024, the DEA’s Hartford Task Force and Middletown Police Department became aware of Flythe’s continued involvement in drug distribution.
Between August and November 2024, investigators conducted multiple controlled purchases of fentanyl from Flythe. On December 18, 2024, a court-authorized search at Flythe’s residence on Adelaide Street in Hartford uncovered approximately 240 grams of fentanyl mixed with xylazine and other additives, along with approximately 160 grams of cocaine.
Since his March 6, 2025, arrest, Flythe has remained detained. On June 10, 2025, he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl and a quantity of cocaine.
The investigation into Flythe’s activities was a collaborative effort between the DEA’s Hartford Task Force, Middletown Police Department, and the Hartford Police Department. Personnel from various local law enforcement agencies, including the Connecticut State Police and several municipal police departments, were involved in the task force.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Reed Durham prosecuted the case against Flythe. This sentencing sends a stark message to those who traffic in deadly drugs: your time is up.
