A cunning con artist, Henry H. Wagner, has finally met his match in the justice system. In a brazen scheme, Wagner swindled the B.G. Odd Fellows out of $2,000 by using a fraudulent deed to secure a loan. The deed, recorded in 1911, was tied to the George Slotterbach farm near Bradner, Ohio. However, Slotterbach was oblivious to the fake transfer until he read a report of property transfers, prompting him to investigate and clear his title to the property.
