A Mexican national, Victorino Javier Cruz-Lopez, 40, was caught reentering the United States without permission in York County, PA, on April 16, 2026. Cruz-Lopez had previously been removed from the US in 2013 and did not receive permission to reenter. The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations investigated the case, which is part of Operation Take Back America. Cruz-Lopez faces up to 20 years in prison for the offense.
