Isadore White Calf, 56, Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison for Aggravated Sexual Abuse

A disturbing incident of aggravated sexual abuse has shaken the community in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Isadore White Calf, a 56-year-old resident of the area, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term for his crimes.

According to court documents, White Calf was convicted of forcibly sexually assaulting a female in February 2017. The incident led to a federal indictment, which was handed down by a grand jury in July 2018.

U.S. Attorney Ron Parsons announced the sentencing, which took place on January 29, 2020. Judge Jeffrey L. Viken imposed a 20-year prison sentence, followed by a lifetime of supervised release. White Calf was also ordered to pay a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Megan Poppen prosecuting the matter. White Calf was immediately taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service following the sentencing.
