Defendant Pleads Guilty to Assault Charges in Oklahoma

A 28-year-old man from Ada, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to federal assault charges. Isaiah Marshall Harjo faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for his role in two separate assaults in September 2025.

The first assault occurred on September 25, 2025, when Harjo allegedly caused serious bodily injury to a victim in Pontotoc County, within the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation Reservation. A second assault also took place on the same day, with Harjo allegedly using a dangerous weapon to harm a second victim.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, along with the Ada Police Department, investigated the crimes.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Lewis M. Reagan represented the United States in this case. The Honorable Gerald L. Jackson accepted the plea and ordered a presentence investigation report.

A U.S. District Court Judge will determine Harjo’s sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
