Unlawful Reentry of Removed Alien Lands Oklahoma Woman in Hot Water
MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – Ivone Monforte Leal, aka Yvonne Monforte, aka Ivonne Monforte Stefany, a 34-year-old Mexican national, has found herself in a world of trouble after pleading guilty to Unlawful Reentry of Removed Alien in Oklahoma.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, Leal was found in Wagoner County, Oklahoma, after having been previously removed from the United States twice without obtaining the express consent of the Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission.
The charge against Leal arose from an investigation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement Division and the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office.
The indictment alleged that on March 26, 2025, Leal, an alien, was found in the United States after having been previously removed twice without obtaining the express consent of the Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission to the United States.
Leal’s case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the federal government to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.
A U.S. District Court Judge will determine the sentence to be imposed after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. Leal will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals Service pending sentencing.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Dak T. Cohen represented the United States.
