Durant Woman Pleads Guilty to Theft of Public Monies
MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – In a shocking turn of events, 33-year-old Jade Belinda Adams of Durant, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to Theft of Public Monies, a federal offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of up to $250,000.
According to court documents, Adams allegedly stole over $1,000 in public monies between September 2012 and November 30, 2016, in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The investigation, led by the Choctaw Nation Tribal Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, uncovered a web of deceit and corruption that has left many in the community stunned.
