PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania – Lancaster County man Jeremy Hachey, 23, of Lititz, PA, has been charged with receipt and possession of child pornography, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger on [Unknown Date] in Philadelphia.

Hachey, a resident of Lititz, PA, faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, with a maximum possible sentence of 40 years, mandatory minimum of five years of supervised release, a possible fine, and $10,200 special assessment if convicted.

The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse launched in May 2006. As part of this initiative, the FBI investigated the case and Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer B. Jordan is handling the prosecution.
