LAFAYETTE, La. – A Jordanian man has pleaded guilty to orchestrating a marriage scam to evade US immigration laws, resulting in serious consequences for his actions.

Emad Edin Yousef Abdallah, 29, of Jordan, pleaded guilty to marriage fraud before U.S. District Judge Richard T. Haik on [date]. Abdallah admitted to entering into two fraudulent marriages to change his immigration status and evade the laws of the United States.
