Joseph C. Long, Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, New Jersey 2020

CAMDEN, NJ – A Camden County man is behind bars after being charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Joseph C. Long, 30, of Bellmawr, New Jersey, was arrested on January 15, 2020, after law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at his apartment.

According to documents filed in the case, officers found powder cocaine, crack cocaine, packaging and distribution related items, and over $3,400 in cash inside the apartment. Long was seen jumping out of the second-floor bedroom window and was later apprehended.

Long made his initial court appearance today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Joel Schneider and was detained without bail. He faces two counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, each carrying a maximum potential penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
