Tifton Man Sentenced to Decade in Prison for Armed Fentanyl Trafficking

ALBANY, Ga. – A brazen display of fentanyl peddling in the heart of Tifton, Georgia, has been met with swift justice as Kabryen Sharrod Ross, also known as “Juice,” 33, of Tifton, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for armed fentanyl distribution.

Ross, a mastermind of modern-day narcotics, sold heroin laced with fentanyl from an outdoor table in broad daylight, boasting a sinister twist to his operation – a burn barrel to quickly eliminate evidence and a unique business model that offered discounts or trades for wood pallets to keep his fire burning.

The sentencing hearing, presided over by Senior U.S. District Judge W. Louis Sands on April 2, came after Ross pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of fentanyl and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime on July 30, 2025.

There is no parole in the federal system, and Ross will serve his 10-year sentence without the possibility of early release.

As Ross faces the harsh realities of federal prison life, the people of Tifton, Georgia, can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that a notorious fentanyl trafficker is behind bars.

The sentencing serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of fentanyl and the consequences of those who peddle it. As our community continues to grapple with the devastating effects of the opioid epidemic, it is imperative that we remain vigilant in our pursuit of justice.

The U.S. Department of Justice’s relentless efforts to combat fentanyl trafficking have yielded another significant victory, and we will continue to shine a light on those who seek to profit from the suffering of others.
