ALBANY, Ga. – In a stark reminder of the ongoing opioid crisis, Kabryen Sharrod Ross, 33, of Tifton, Georgia, has been sentenced to 120 months in prison for armed fentanyl distribution. The severity of the sentence serves as a warning to those who would seek to peddle death from an outdoor table.
Ross, also known as ‘Juice,’ was caught selling heroin mixed with fentanyl from a makeshift operation that included a burn barrel for quick destruction of evidence and offering discounts or trades for wood pallets to maintain the fire. This brazen approach to trafficking was met with swift justice, as Ross pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of fentanyl and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime on July 30, 2025.
Senior U.S. District Judge W. Louis Sands handed down the sentence on April 2, 2025, bringing an end to Ross’s reign of terror. The sentence will be followed by five years of supervised release, with no possibility of parole in the federal system.
